I took this HDR shot of the ocean from beneath a fishing pier. I tried to tone-map and process the image to give the shot the most realistic look I could. So, this is pretty close to what it looked like-color, texture, lighting, etc.- when I was actually standing there.(For the full effect, place your bare feet in a bucket of warm water while viewing) For some reason it is always much more interesting to view the ocean from beneath a pier rather than to just stare at the endless ocean horizon from an empty beach. But both are infinitely better things to do than having to go to work :-)
